These terms apply to use of our website and consumer purchases from our store for delivery within the United Kingdom.
## 2. Placing an Order
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract and be authorised to use the payment method provided.
Before submitting an order, check the product, quantity, dimensions, delivery address and total price.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. We accept your order, and a sales contract is formed, when we send a dispatch confirmation.
Payment may be authorised or collected during checkout before acceptance. If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and promptly release the authorisation or refund any payment collected.
Reasons may include unavailable stock, an unresolved payment issue, an unsupported delivery address or an obvious pricing error.
## 3. Product Information
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, dimensions, materials and photographs.
Screen settings and lighting can affect how colours appear. This does not limit your right to receive goods that match their description.
Please check the stated dimensions and suitability for your vehicle before ordering. Products are not guaranteed to fit every make or model unless the product page expressly states this.
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose agreed with us and as described.
## 4. Prices and Payment
Prices and payments are in pounds sterling (GBP). Displayed consumer prices include applicable taxes.
Standard delivery within our supported UK delivery area is free. The total payable is displayed before you submit payment.
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and described in our Payment Information page.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you to offer the correct price or cancel and refund the order. We will not increase the price of an accepted order without your agreement.
## 5. Delivery
We deliver only within the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and UK islands.
Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, PO Box addresses and BFPO addresses are excluded.
Orders are dispatched from UK stock. Processing normally takes 1–3 working days, followed by an estimated 2–5 working days in transit. Some locations may require longer.

## 6. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
We offer a 30-day notification period for change-of-mind returns, followed by 14 days to send the goods back.
This is additional to your statutory cancellation rights and does not restrict your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

## 7. Product Use
Follow the product instructions and check that the item is installed securely and is suitable for your vehicle.
Accessories must not obstruct airbags, seat belts, child-seat fittings, pedals, vehicle controls or the driver’s view. Secure stored items before driving.
Storage accessories, protective covers and pet beds are not crash-protection equipment. A pet travel bed does not replace an appropriate animal restraint.
These instructions do not limit our responsibility for defective goods or inaccurate descriptions.
## 8. Our Responsibility
We are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
Products are supplied for private domestic use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for business losses arising from commercial use.
## 9. Website Content
Website content, branding and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website for personal shopping and keep copies of your order information and applicable policies. Other reproduction or commercial use requires permission unless permitted by law.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or introduce harmful software.
## 10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information and website tracking.
Acceptance of these terms does not constitute consent to optional advertising or analytics cookies.
## 11. Complaints
Contact support@northlaneauto.com with your order number and a description of your concern.
We aim to respond within 1–2 working days. If an investigation takes longer, we will keep you informed.
Nothing in our complaints process prevents you from exercising your legal rights.
## 12. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to the mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland retain the protections and rights to bring proceedings in their local courts available under applicable law. Nothing in these terms requires a UK consumer to bring a claim in the United States.
## 13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms applicable when you place an order will continue to govern that order.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
